An exquisitely nurturing treatment focusing on the areas which store the most tension - the back, feet, scalp and face. Touch Therapy*
Dorset Ayurveda is proud to be able to support guests at all stages throughout their cancer journey using Made for Life Organics massage oils and balms. Touch Therapy treatments are also suitable for people with conditions such as long covid, fibromyalgia, MS and those suffering from stress, anxiety and PTSD. The effects of the gentle massage techniques are similar to a period of meditation, allowing the mind to disconnect from daily stress and anxiety. The heart rate slows, the breath calms and deepens and nerves are gently soothed.

Reflexology
This beautiful, non-invasive therapy uses the feet as an anatomical map to treat the whole body. Everything in the body is connected, so by manipulating and pressing certain areas on the feet, correlating parts of the body will feel the benefit. There are over 7,000 nerve endings in our feet, and during a treatment these are used as a 'messaging service', rebalancing the body from the inside out.

- Ayurvedic Energy Point Massage
In Ayurveda, marma points are known as your vital energy pathways located at junctures where nerves and tissues meet, each serving a particular purpose throughout the structure of the body.
Throughout this revitalizing full body treatment, traditional Ayurvedic massage techniques are combined with marma point pressure with the aid of warm, herbal oils.
